The Big One Fishpedia Sort Guide: Find Your Next Goal by Weight and Price

The Big One is a casual fishing RPG built around casting, waiting, hooking, reeling, equipment progression, 150+ fish species, 10 fishing locations, and Fishpedia collection.
A wall of empty entries can make collection feel distant. Sorting turns the same records into one question you can act on today instead of a list of fish you have not caught.
Read one collection through four questions

Choose the next cast with each sort
| In-game label | Use it when | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity order | You want an overview of collection progress | Pick one gap, then check its locations and available bait. |
| Heaviest first | You want to revisit your biggest recorded catches | Choose one top record and try again at the same location. |
| Lightest first | You want to review smaller records first | Use one lighter record as a compact session goal. |
| Most valuable first | You want to compare higher-value records | Check location and bait before changing gear for value alone. |
A 30-second sorting routine
1. Open Fishpedia and enable Caught only.
2. Choose one sort that matches today’s question.
3. Pick one fish from the first screen.
4. Check its locations and available bait, then cast.
Show caught fish only · Appears at · Available bait
You do not need to keep changing the order. One question and one fish are enough for one session; a clear way to read records makes the next cast obvious.
