The Big One Screen Flow Guide: Read Home, Fishing, Fishpedia, and Shop
The Big One is a casual fishing RPG built around a short loop of casting, waiting, bite reaction, and reeling. To learn that loop quickly, it helps to read what each screen is asking you to do instead of memorizing every button at once.
Home, Fishing, Fishpedia, and Shop each answer a different next-action question.
Set a target from Home
Home is where you decide whether to fish immediately or check progress first. For a short session, picking one fishing spot is already enough structure.
On the Fishing screen, watch one thing first
On the Fishing screen, avoid trying to read everything at once. First follow the large order: cast, wait for the signal, react to the bite, then move into reeling.
Use Fishpedia as a target list
Fishpedia works best as a target list, not just a collection display. Look for unfinished fish, then decide whether to keep trying the same fishing spot or switch goals.
Return to Shop when progression feels stuck
Shop is not only a place to spend. When repeated attempts feel unclear, use it to check gear and gold before returning to the next run.
